Local Registered Stocks (LRS) are financial instruments issued by the Malawi Government to finance medium to long term development projects. The tenor for LRS can range from 2 years to 25 years (or longer).

Investors can buy LRS from RBM. Currently, the opportunity to invest in the LRS market is limited.
